Thomas Road Students is the ministry for middle school and high school students at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA.

We believe that everyone matters to God and because everyone matters to God, everyone matters to us as well. We exist to help students know God, own their faith and make their faith known to others. We love to have fun, and we always want to be all about Jesus in everything that we do. We believe that we are better together and are all about providing a place for you to build meaningful relationships while learning more about what it looks like to follow Jesus as middle school and high school students!

We gather every Wednesday night from 6-9pm to hang out, worship Jesus and connect in groups.

Students arrive at the main entrance of TRBC on Wednesday nights at 6pm. After checking in, they are invited to engage in a variety of fun activities set up in the front parking lot and in Bruner Hall. Every week we provide a free dinner that is catered by area food trucks, restaurants in our community or our team of volunteers.

At 7pm, we invite students inside to the main auditorium for a dynamic worship service.  These services include fun and engaging programming elements, powerful and inspiring worship and practical teaching that addresses the real life issues that middle school and high school students are facing.

Connection Groups:

Following the service, we gather students in groups based on their grade and gender.  The purpose of these groups is to make a big ministry feel small and provide our students with authentic community.  We staff our groups with well trained and pre-screened leaders who are equipped to engage and encourage students and help them process all that they heard and experienced during the service.
